Israel's Alexander Brewery to pour at Ottawa beer festival
National Capital Craft Beer Festival will feature dozens of beers including the micro-brew from the Hefer Valley.

Cold beer on a hot summer day is a Canadian tradition. Alexander an Israeli boutique brewery is getting in on the action and will be pouring the cold stuff at at the National Capital Craft Beer Festival in Ottawa from August 15-17. The brewery founder is Ori Sagy, a former Israel Air Force pilot will be on hand to talk about his brew and about the budding industry in Israel.The beer is made in the pastoral Hefer Valley near Netanya and its two featured beers are a Belgian ale blonde style beer and and a reddish amber beer There will be dozens of beers to sample at the festival, most of which are from local small Ontario brewers such as Beyond The Pale, Beau’s Brewery and Ashton Brew Company.Summer's almost over in Canada, so if you are in Ottawa this weekend, head down to City Hall and enjoy a cold one from the Jewish state.More information on the festival can be founds at http://nationalcapitalcraftbeerfestival.ca/
