MK plans to meet Netanyahu "to present the evidence of the sale," which he says he has collected from the families.

MK Zevulun Orlev (Habayit Hayehudi) plans to hand Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu proof that the disputed Hebron apartment building was purchased from its Palestinian owner.“I am going to ask for a meeting with Netanyahu so I can present him with evidence of the sale,” Orlev told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.His comments came after returning from a trip to Hebron to visit with representatives of 15 families that moved in to a three-story building in that city they called Beit Hamachpela. He added that he had collected all the necessary evidence from the families.Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the eviction of the families who remained in the building last Wednesday because they lacked the necessary permits and because he determined that their presence in the otherwise Palestinian neighborhood was a threat to public order.The Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria and Border Police are also investigating the legality of the sale, with specific concerns over if the Palestinian in question had full ownership rights to the property.In a statement he sent to the media, Orlev said he planned to ask Netanyahu to conclude the investigation into the sale within 30 days of the March 29 entry of the families into the structure.Orlev said that this purchase was as legal as the one that occurred in the time of the Bible, when Abraham bought the Cave of the Patriarchs from its local owner.The government needs to authorize this sale as soon as possible, he said.
