I don't like Starbucks coffee and generally go to McDonalds or Tim Horton's for coffee, but I'm confused about it. Most of the people I know who frequent Starbucks and consume their product are leftist coffee snobs, yet they seem to dislike Starbucks for various reasons, and whenever there is a boycott or protest, it seems to be directed at Starbucks. Why is this? I've always associated Starbucks with leftists. After all, it started in Seattle, the centre of leftist sentiment on the West Coast. What's going on?
