KKL-JNF staff in Israel's northern region have just completed the finishing touches on Gan Mikulov in Katzrin. At the entrance to the new park is a sign acknowledging the generous contribution of friends of KKL-JNF in the Czech Republic, which made the creation of this park possible. The park includes a public garden, a 5.5 meter high clock tower, asphalt paths, a rose garden, a bowling lawn, and extensive lighting and irrigation systems.
KKL-JNF has created a new park for the benefit of the residents of Katzrin, the capital city of the Golan Heights in the north. This extensive park, developed in cooperation with the Katzrin Municipality, is located between the veteran Afek neighborhood and a new neighborhood under construction to its west. The park is a manifestation of Katzrin’s special relationship with its twin city; Mikulov in the Czech Republic.
