PA slams plans for 90 new homes in Beit El settlement

The Palestinian Authority on Monday criticized Israeli plans to build 90 new homes in the Beit El settlement.
The Bethlehem-based Ma'an News Agency quoted senior PA official Nabil Abu Rudaineh as saying in response to the plans, "The Palestinian position is clear. There can be no negotiation while settlement continues."
The homes are part of an overall plan for 300 new units in the settlement approved by the government as part of its agreement with 30 families in the adjacent Ulpana outpost in exchange for peaceful evacuate of their homes over the summer.
