Landau approves 19 new solar licenses

Energy and Water Minister Uzi Landau signed 19 new licenses for photovoltaic solar facilities worth approximately 27 megawatts in total on Sunday, his office reported on Monday. The minister authorized the licenses after they received approval at the Public Utility Authority plenary meeting on January 9.
The total number of conditional solar licenses granted in total for the country’s electricity grid thus far amount to 515.5 megawatts, according to the ministry.
