Update: 40 rockets fired since midnight; 650 total

Terrorists in Gaza fired forty rockets at Israel since midnight on Saturday, Army Radio reported. In recent hours, six rockets landed in Ashdod, and Iron dome intercepted an additional four over Beersheba.

In total, Palestinians fired 650 rockets toward the Jewish state since the beginning of Operation Pillar of Defense on Wednesday, but only 26 landed in built-up areas. Iron Dome intercepted 213 projectiles, maintaining a 90% intercept rate.

Palestinian sources report 39 Palestinian deaths, according to Israel Radio.

The IDF has struck over 200 targets overnight, including 120 rocket launchers and 20 tunnels, bringing the total number of targets throughout the operation to 830.
