Hezbollah leader rejects Hariri court indictments

BEIRUT - Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah rejected on Saturday indictments issued by a UN-backed tribunal seeking the killers of statesman Rafik Hariri, saying they were an attack on his movement.

Nasrallah said authorities would not be able to arrest the four suspects named in the indictments, which were handed to Lebanon's prosecutor on Thursday and which officials said accused Hezbollah members of involvement in Hariri's killing.

He also said the court aimed to spread sectarian strife in Lebanon, but said it would fail to inflame conflict between Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims.
