Report: Firefighting services lacking firefighters, trucks

The Firefighting and Rescue Services in Israel currently lack 300 firefighters, 50 officers, and 134 fire trucks, according to an investigation conducted by Army Radio.
The investigation also found that 60 of the 350 existing fire trucks have been in use for over 20 years.
Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of technical instruments such as cranes, communications equipment and protective clothing.
It is estimated that at least six month are required to fix the deficiencies.
