Border police thwart terrorist attack attempt in W. Bank

In an arrest that Border Police say prevented a terror attack, officers stopped three men in the West Bank carrying explosives, a pistol, and a knife on Sunday night.
Police said that the night before three Palestinian men from the Balata refugee camp arrived at the Tapuah junction in the northern West Bank and something about the three men arose the suspicion of the officers.
During a search of the men's vehicle, police said the officers found eight pipe bombs, a pistol, and a knife.
A Border Police bomb squad unit was called to the scene and neutralized the bombs, while the three men were taken into custody for further investigation.
