Danon: Terror attack due to Barak's "lax security policies"

Likud MK Danny Danon on Saturday attributed the terror attack on Itamar to "Defense Minister Ehud Barak's lax security policies in Judea and Samaria."

Danon said in a statement that the "irresponsible removal of checkpoints" and the handing over of security dutied to the Palestinian Authority "has led to a situation where an innocent family was brutally slaughtered in their own home."

The MK added that Israel's top priority at this time is "to pursue the murderers and bring them to swift justice, not the convenience or comfort of the Palestinian populace."
