KUNA: Kuwait emir swears in new cabinet

DUBAI - Kuwait's cabinet was sworn in on Wednesday by the Gulf state's emir, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, state news agency KUNA reported, one day after a new government was named.
The world's number six oil exporter named a new government on Tuesday, replacing the heads of only some minor ministries.
Oil Minister Mohammad al-Busairi and Finance Minister Mustapha al-Shamali held on to their posts, as did Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Sabah and Trade Minister Amani Bouresli.
