Report: Algeria transfers $26 million to the PA

Deputy Arab League secretary-general Ahmed Ben Helli said Tuesday that Algeria transferred $26 million to the Palestinian Authority to help resolve the  severe financial crisis in the West Bank, official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
The Arab League ministers in December decided to provide the PA with $100 million per month in light of Israel’s decision to withhold tax revenues belonging to the Palestinians against their debt to the Israel Electric Corporation.
