Police arrested a 15-year-old suspect on Thursday for allegedly taking
part in a vicious assault on a man who asked youths to keep the noise
down in Ra'anana.
The assault victim, 34, was walking his dog in the evening hours on
Monday, when he ran into a group of noisy youths. He asked them to keep
the noise down, and encountered threats of serious violence from the
teens in response, police said. The man left the area.
On Wednesday night, the man encountered two of the youths from the
same group again. This time, they allegedly followed him home, and one
teen allegedly punched the man in the face as he turned to enter his
apartment.
The man was knocked to the ground, and the youths allegedly continued
assaulting him with punches and kicks.
Paramedics evacuated him to the Meir Medical center in Kfar Saba in
light condition.
Police are searching for additional suspects.
