In spite of reaffirming the special relationship between the US and
Israel, claiming it is "deeper than the newspaper's say," Netanyahu went
on to say that "Israel cannot rely on any one else" in regards to the
Netanyahu said: "The US, like us, want to prevent a nuclear Iran." He made it clear that he has yet to make a decision on the issue in spite of recent reports saying that Israel's military oppose a unilateral Israeli strike on Iran.
Netanyahu cited former Prime Minister Menachem Begin's attack of the nuclear reactor in Iraq in 1981, commenting that there were divisions within the political and operational ranks then as there may be now.
