With Eitan Hai-Am quitting the list on Saturday, Yesh Atid encountered its first
signs of trouble since media reports carried a possible version of the party’s
top 15 in election for the Knesset on Friday.
Hai-Am was previously
director-general of the Health Ministry and achieved national recognition
fighting on behalf of doctors with the ministry’s political level.
He had
been listed in media reports as number twelve on the potential Yesh Atid
list.
While Hai-Am did not confirm media reports that his low placement
was the reason for his resignation, he resigned right after the supposed list
was published.
