Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held security consultations into Monday night to weigh a military response to the continuous barrage of Gaza rockets against southern Israel, as the worried international community urged restraint.
Netanyahu was meeting with Defense Minister Ehud Barak in Jerusalem Monday night. It is believed they are developing a new policy for responding to Gaza rockets.
Some 20
rockets fired from Gaza slammed into southern Israel Through-out the day, with
one rocket scoring a direct strike on a Netivot factory, causing damages but no
injuries, as workers sought cover just in time.
