3 Border cops injured in east J'lem

Three Border Patrol officers were lightly injured during disturbances that broke out in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya on Monday night, after Palestinian youths, apparently responding to the IDF naval raid off the coast of Gaza, hurled rocks at their position, a Jerusalem police spokesman said.
Two of the officers, one who was hit in the throat and the other on his hand, were evacuated to Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital for medical treatment, while the third was treated at the scene.
Police reported that the crowd was dispersed using riot control methods and calm had been restored to the area later on Monday night.
