Former prime minister Ehud Olmert on Thursday said the current government in Israel "could lead Israel to isolation," Army Radio reported.
Speaking in Tel Aviv, Olmert stated: "The
Israeli government could lead us to a situation where the state can no
longer survive. Our refusal to conduct negotiations will lead to
isolation," Army Radio reported.
Referring to recent tensions between Jerusalem and Washington, Olmert said: "Is it in our best interest to publicly confront the most powerful
man in the world, who is committed to the fight against Iran?"
