Hadash party leader MK Mohammed Barakeh on Monday responded to his meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, saying that his party will act as an "actively fighting opposition."
Barakeh said on the party's website: "In light of the Hadash party’s political, economic and social standing, we
represent a political position opposite that of the government, and
will therefore act as an actively fighting opposition."
Netanyahu also spoke on Monday with the party leaders of Balad and Ra’am-Ta’al, Israel Radio reported.
According to the report, the prime minister stressed he would continue to safeguard the interests of all Israeli citizens.
