A worker assembly of x-ray technicians and others will be held at Hadassah
University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem on Sunday between 9 a.m. and
10 a.m. to protest against yet another violent incident against its staffers.
On
Thursday morning, two x-ray technicians were attacked in the urgent medicine
department by the son of a patient. The son accompanied his father to a
computerized tomography (CT) scan and was physically violent against the
technicians because he was apparently dissatisfied with waiting on the queue.
The medical staffers suffered light injuries and were treated in the emergency
room. The police were called and arrested the attacker. The Hadassah Medical
Organization said that at Sunday’s meeting, violence against staffers will be
condemned.
