American President Barack Obama’s trip to Israel later this week will be
broadcast worldwide in high definition. Mizmor Productions, a local production
company, won a tender from the Prime Minister’s office to follow President Obama
throughout his trip and cameramen from the firm will accompany him to his
speeches, photo ops and visits to Israeli sites such as the Shrine of the Book
at the Israel Museum, Theodore Herzl’s grave and Yad Vashem.
The footage
shot by the company’s cameramen will entered into the press pool and distributed
free of charge via satellite to news outlets around the world. The footage will
also be webcast live over the internet.
Footage of the visit will be shot
by crews manning twenty vans carrying forty high-definition cameras, which will
begin recording from the moment that Air Force One touches down on the tarmac at
Ben Gurion International Airport on Wednesday.
“All footage of President
Obama's visit will be broadcasted live,” Mizmor Productions announced in a
release.
