Livni at 'Camp Sucker' tent: Gov't abusing trust of public

The Tzipi Livni Party (Hatnuah) leader Tzipi Livni on Monday visited the "Camp Sucker" tent in Tel Aviv's Arlozorov train station, and decried her political rivals for abandoning Israeli citizens who serve in the IDF.
"The government is abusing the trust of the Israeli public," Livni said. "These elections are about the image of the State of Israel. They are about the question of whether we will continue to see some who serve and some who don't, some who pay taxes and some who don't. They're about whether we'll see Israel isolated and close in on itself, or a country that is conducting diplomatic negotiations."
Earlier this week, the Camp Sucker movement re-erected its trademark tent at the train station to protest a government decision to all 1,300 haredim to forego IDF service.
