Actor Amos Lavie, 57, passes away in Tel Aviv hospital

Israeli film, theater and television actor Amos Lavie passed away Tuesday evening in the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Lavie was 57 years old.
He died after battling lung cancer only a select few relatives and friends knew he had.
Lavie was one of Israel's most popular actors, and appeared in dozens of movies, television series and plays. He won three Ophir Awards, the Israeli equivalent of the Academy Award. He also played in Steven Spielberg's 'Munich.'
Lavie leaves behind four children, from four different wives.
