High Court freezes demolition orders against suspected murderers of 3 teens

The High Court of Justice on Thursday froze three IDF demolition orders against the residences of three Palestinians suspected in the kidnapping and murders of Gil-Ad Shaer, Eyal Yifrah and Naftali Fraenkel in mid-June.
The demolitions of the family homes of Marwan Qawasmeh and 'Amer Abu 'Ayeshawere (the suspected murderers) and Husam Qawasmeh (suspected of aiding the two) were originally scheduled for late Thursday afternoon.
The state has until 5 p.m. on Sunday to respond and the court will hold a rushed hearing on the issue on Monday.
On July 1, the state dropped a self-imposed ban on house demolitions that had been in place since 2005.
