Report: French ambassador visits Lee Zeitouni's parents

The French ambassador to Israel on Wednesdays visited the family of Lee Zeitouni, who was run-down and killed by two Frenchmen that fled the scene and later the country.

Channel 10 reported that Christophe Bigot, the French diplomat, sat with Zeitouni's parents for an hour, who demanded that he act to have the two suspects be extradited back to Israel.

Although refusing to address the very direct but informal extradition request, told the bereaved parents that "based on the evidence that will be transferred by the authorities in Israel, we will make an effort to return the two boys to Israel," Channel 10 reported.
