Abbas requested 3 Arab countries to freeze Dahlan assets

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas requested three different countries to freeze fixed and liquid assets belonging to former Fatah strongman Muhammad Dahlan amid ongoing corruption charges, but only Jordan responded, a Fatah leader told Al Jazeera Wednesday.
According to the report, Abbas made the request to United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan but only the latter country complied.
The official estimated Dahlan’s assets in Jordan at 10 million Jordanian dinars (NIS 53.5 million).
