Mideast Quartet calls on Israelis, Palestinians to avoid undermining peace talks

All parties should take "every possible step to promote conditions conducive to the success of the negotiating process and to refrain from actions that undermine" the Quartet announced on Wednesday morning.
Quartet spokesman David Kriss said in a statement to the press that the organization hopes renewed negotiations will be "substantive and continuous and set a clear path towards a two-state-solution, the end of conflict, and lasting peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians."
It commended leaders of all parties, including US President Barack Obama, and US Secretary of State John Kerry in helping the Israelis and Palestinians reach agreement to resume negotiations.
