Ayalon: J'lem knows how to show Hamas heavy price of terror

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said that Israel knows how to make Hamas understand that its terror carries a heavy price, speaking at an event in Beersheba on Saturday.

"Hamas only understands force," Ayalon said, adding that "Israel knows how to make the group understand that there is a heavy price for terrorism."

The deputy foreign minister declared that "Terrorism will never determine" Israel's actions and that the country has united in the face of threats. "We all [stand] with the residents of the South," he added.

Ayalon also called on UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to retract the comparison between Israel's defensive actions with Hamas' terrorism. He demanded that Ban clearly condemn only Hamas.
