Dennis Ross returns to Jewish think tank

US diplomat Dennis Ross has rejoined The Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) two months after stepping down from the position of US special envoy to the Middle East, the Jewish think tank announced on Monday.
Ross, who was chairman of the JPPI before accepting US President Barack Obama’s offer to represent American interests in the region in 2009, will share the chair with Stuart Eizenstat, former Under Secretary at the State Department, the Deputy Secretary of Treasury and US Ambassador to the EU.
Ross is expected to deliver a speech on developments in the Middle East at a closed vent held at JPPI’s offices in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
