PM says no to 'Hamastan' in Judea and Samaria

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at a Likud faction meeting that Israel must prevent rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, noting that it must be said that Israel cannot defend each and every home, base, and facility with either passive or active defense, Israel Radio reported Monday. The prime minister reiterated that the continuing stream of rockets from Gaza will not be tolerated, and that an aggressive policy is necessary.
Netanyahu expressed appreciation for southern residents and regional council heads on their restraint. He stressed that Hamas is responsible for what is happening in the Gaza Strip and for the rocket fire.
According to Israel Radio, the prime minister added that Israel would not tolerate a state of "Hamastan" in Judea and Samaria.
