Report: Iran general's words lost in translation in Lebanon

The head of Iran's elite Quds Force, Brig. Gen. Qassem Suleimani was mistranslated in remarks that drew the ire of the Lebanese opposition, Beirut-based English-language newspaper the Daily Star reported Monday.
Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi said that the general's statement was twisted to make it sound as if sounds as if he said that Iran influenced affairs in Iraq and Lebanon.
Roknabadi insisted that according to the original Persian, Suleimani said that countries in the region were "inspired" by the Islamic Revolution, and not "influenced" by it, the Star reported.
