Bulgarian president: Mossad did not warn attack was coming

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev said Wednesday in the aftermath of a terror attack that killed seven Israelis in the city of Burgas earlier in the day that Bulgarian authorities met with members of the Mossad a month ago, but received no warning of an expected attack, the Sofia News Agency reported.
Plevniev stated that Bulgarian authorities would have acted seriously if they had received advanced warning of a terror attack.
"The attack does not mean that Bulgaria is a risky destination for tourism," the Sofia News Agency quoted Plevniev as saying. He added that Bulgarian authorities were doing all in their power to help the victims of the attack.
