Israel releases Palestinian administrative detainee Adnan

Israel released Palestinian administrative detainee Khader Adnan late Tuesday night, Israel Radio reported.
Adnan, a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, had started up a hunger strike in protest of his detainment, which ended up lasting 66 days. Adnan was being taken by authorities to the Salem Checkpoint, after which he was scheduled to proceed to his home in a village next to Jenin in the West Bank, according to the report.
