London Stock Exchange CEO to ring bell at TASE

The CEO of the London Stock Exchange, Xavier Rolet, will ring the bell opening trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange this Thursday. Rolet will be accompanied by the British Ambassador to Israel Matthew Gould, UK Trade and Investment Israel Director Richard Salt and Graham Dallas, the Senior Manager Americas & EMEA at the London Stock Exchange.

The delegation will meet the boursa's chairman Shaul Bornfeld as well as other senior members of the financial markets and heads of traded companies .

The visit marks the European Securities and Markets Authority’s recognition of the Israel Securities Authority, which will ease the ability of Israeli companies to issue on the London Stock Exchange.

Eight Israeli companies currently trade on the London Stock Exchange.
