Netanyahu disappointed by Assad statement

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expressed disappointment with Syrian President Bashar Assad’s comments that Israel is pushing the region towards war, Israel Radio reported overnight Wednesday.
The Prime Minister’s Office said that the reality is quite the opposite.
His office said that Netanyahu has said many times that he is ready to meet and negotiate with Syria without preconditions, and that Israel is not rejecting the idea of a third party who would assist in advancing the process with Damascus, according to the report.
