Cleantech exhibition hosts NIS 250 million of transactions

Last week’s 15th annual Cleantech exhibition ended with a grand total of NIS 250 million in transactions among visitors from both Israel and the 89 other countries that attended the fare held from July 6-7 at the Tel Aviv exhibition grounds, a spokeswoman for the hosting Mashov Group announced on Thursday.
Among the biggest achievements were tens of millions of dollars worth of deals by the Israeli SUNTECH solar energy company, five delegations from Jordan demonstrating interest in Israeli environmental solutions and the president of a Polish company seeking Israeli partnership in the wind energy field, the spokeswoman said in a statement.
The clean-tech industries in the coming decade will be the main engine of growth given the acute global need for water and energy,” said Haim Allouche, CEO of the Mashov Group, in the statement. “The CleanTech Exhibition has become famous around the world and next year we estimate that the exhibition will double in size and will be a site of pilgrimage for exhibitors and visitors from all over the world."
