Tel Aviv opens new bicycle parking lot

As part of a citywide policy to encourage the use of bicycles and motorcycles, Tel Aviv-Yafo has completed construction on a parking lot for bikes near the HaShalom train station in the city’s center and alongside a major traffic route, the municipality announced on Wednesday.
The street-side parking facility includes 80 parking spaces for bicycles and 30 for motorcycles, and adjacent to it is a Tel-O-Fun bike rental station, the city said.
