'PA forces discover Hamas weapons cache in Ramallah'

In recent months, Palestinian security forces have discovered rockets, RPG launchers and mortar shells held by Hamas in Ramallah, Israel Radio reported a Palestinian security official as saying on Wednesday.

According to Adnan Demaryi, the weapons were meant to damage the Palestinian Authority's internal security and not Israel.

At a press conference in Ramallah Demaryi said Hamas is leading incitements against the PA and is attempting to cause anarchy.

PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad called to end the rift between Ramallah and the Gaza Strip so that a Palestinian state can be created. According to Fayyad, internal Palestinian conflict assists Israel in perpetuating the separation between Gaza and the West Bank.
