Kickboxer Itay Gershon is frustrated at the lack of funding allocated to non-Olympic sports

Itay Gershon won a bronze medal at the European Championships this year. He is also a former European youth champion.

However, this is likely the first time you have ever heard of him. This is because the 19-year-old Har Homa resident has achieved his success in the non-Olympic sports of kickboxing and Thai kickboxing, rather than in martial arts the likes of judo and tae kwon do, which appear in the Olympic program.
