37 detained at anti-Israel protest in Moscow

A few dozen people have staged a protest outside the Israeli Embassy in Moscow demanding an end to attacks on the Gaza Strip. The protest was not sanctioned. City police spokesman Vladimir Paklin said about 37 people were detained. The participants in Friday's protest included Palestinians, Azeris and Russian Muslims. They carried flags of Palestine, Lebanon, Hizbullah, prewar Iraq and Azerbaijan.
