Afghan and US-led coalition forces killed several insurgents Tuesday after coming under attack in the central province of Ghazni, a coalition statement said. The insurgents attacked the joint force with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades in Qarabagh district. In the clash that ensued, "several" militants were killed, the statement said. It was not possible to confirm casualty figures because travel to the area is extremely dangerous.
