Al-Qaida claims responsibility for bomb in Lebanon

Al Qaida on Thursday claimed responsibility for the car bomb that exploded in Beirut late Wednesday night. In a message to a Lebanese newspaper, the terrorist organization stated that the blast signaled the end of an ultimatum handed to the Lebanese government insisting they release 13 al Qaida activists who were recently arrested.
