Forbes list puts Jewish businesswoman Irene Rosenfeld in 2nd place; Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Ellen make top ten, Nancy Pelosi in 11th spot.

Michelle Obama is the most powerful woman in the world, according to a Forbes magazine list released Thursday.
Other notable women are Kraft Foods CEO Irene Rosenfeld, in the second slot, Oprah Winfrey at third, followed by Angela Merkel and Hillary Clinton.

In entertainment, Lady Gaga is number seven, with singer Beyonce Knowles and comedian Ellen Degeneres finishing the top 10. Nancy Pelosi is listed eleventh.
New Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan is number 25, and Sarah Palin is 16.
Three Middle Eastern women made the list - Qatari first lady Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned (70), and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan (76), as well as Maha Al-Ghunaim (94), the Kuwaiti cofounder and chair of Global Investment House.
