Police were examining a bag found lying unclaimed near the entrance to one of the buildings of the sprawling Parliament complex in the heart of the Indian capital Thursday, news reports said. Bomb disposal experts were called in after police found the bag near the entrance to the Parliament annex, about 200 meters (yards) away from the main parliament building, the private CNN-IBN news channel said. A high security alert has been issued, Press Trust of India news agency said. However, parliamentary proceedings were going on uninterrupted, New Delhi Television said.
