Report: EU to set up pan-European crime database

Interior ministers of EU countries decided to establish a common database of genetic profiles, fingerprints, and car registration information of crime suspects, the BBC reported Tuesday. If the plan will be implemented, every police station in Europe could access online information on crime suspects in other EU nations.
