S. Korea says it believes North's test was genuine

South Korean officials said Tuesday that they believe that North Korea tested a nuclear weapon as it claimed, but that it would take about two weeks to determine if the test was successful. Unification Minister Lee Jong-seok told lawmakers that the South believed that the North had conducted a nuclear test. Presidential security adviser Song Min-soon said it would take about two weeks to determine if it had been successful, according to the president's office.
