Iran to hold military exercises in Persian Gulf

Iran's Revolutionary Guard will begin military exercises on Wednesday in the Persian Gulf, Army Radio quoted news agencies in Teheran as reporting on Tuesday evening. The exercises, which will also be held in the Gulf of Oman, will focus on launching missiles from the air and sea - a step that, according to the report, is meant to boost Iran's ability to defend itself.
