Solana says door to negotiations with Iran open

The EU's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, said Friday that talks with Iran would still be possible even as major powers prepared to discuss the possibility of sanctions to force Teheran to suspend its nuclear program. "The door to negotiations is and will be always open," said Solana in a speech to security experts in Paris.
