2 arrested for trying to stab policeman in Haifa

Two Galilee residents, aged 19 and 20, were arrested after attempting to stab a police officer in Haifa, it was reported on Sunday morning. The two tried to steal a bicycle belonging to the officer's grandson, and when the officer identified himself as a policeman and tried to stop them, they tried to stab him. No one was wounded in the incident, and the police are expected to request a remand extension for the two.
